check in was at 4pm and it was almost 6pm and the rehearsal dinner started at 6:30pm. We arrived on the eve of the rehearsal dinner to find that my room (the bride) the grooms room, and my parents rooms were not available or ready. They were very apologetic and promised to make everything right. Turns out the mistake was on the hotels part and we had met the numbers all along. We had to scramble to contact guests to figure out who was staying where and if they were staying in the room block. Further more, they didn't track any of the guest who used the rate which resulted in us getting a call 2 days before the wedding to inform us that we were in breach of our contract and would owe them for unfilled rooms. We then found that the rate they were giving us for the room block was significantly more than that which our guests could find online. The individual assigned to our group was rude to our guests, difficult to work with, and very un-accommodating.
